Purpose of Smoke Ventilators
It is
acknowledged that the
inhalation of smoke and toxic fumes,
and not the fire itself, is responsible
for the deaths of a large percentage
of fire victims.
A
Smoke Ventilation System will
be effective in evacuating
this smoke and prevent
its spread to important
evacuation routes.
|
Detection and Activation
A Smoke
Ventilation System
can act as a standalone system
with its own set of activation devices
(e.g. Smoke detectors, Break-glass panels).
It
can also be interfaced with an
existing fire safety/alarm system.
